How do I get a mooring in the town of Bourne?
To get a mooring in the town of Bourne you have to apply with the town. Once you apply and get on the waiting list you then wait for your name to be called. Every year you will have to apply to stay on the list. Once you get picked, you will talk to the cove master within your area and then contact us to install the appropriate mooring system or outhaul. How many mooring am I allowed?
For the town of Bourne you are allowed a maximum of 3 recreational moorings.
How Will I know where the mooring will be placed inside the cove?
Once a mooring permit offer has been confirmed, placement of your mooring, within the boundaries of the cove, will be determined by the Harbor Master, volunteer Cove Master, & the permit holder, with occasional recommendations from us. Here is more links for more information.
May other family members inherit the permit for my mooring?
No … but Mooring Permits Are Transferable To Surviving Spouse ONLY. The Mooring Tackle & Equipment, are your private property, and must be removed from the waterway when permit is cancelled.
What is a Outhaul?

What is the cost for a mooring inspection?
Mooring inspection cost is determined by your location. We do offer inspections in all the waterways of Bourne!
What is the cost for a new mooring?
New mooring cost is determined by what you need. We can provide all the hardware and launch your new mooring for you. We do offer this service in all the waterways of Bourne!
What is a winter stick?
A winter stick replaces your mooring ball during the winter months. They have to get installed after the 15th of September and removed by the 15th of May – per the Town Of Bourne.
Do you offer winter stick install?
Yes we do! We will set you up with your very own winter stick and can install and remove for you every year! We do offer this service in all the waterways of Bourne! Contact us if you want this service.
