Steven summered in Buzzards Bay all his life. As a avid boater since the age of 10, he started his carrier working for the Department Of Natural Resources for the Town of Bourne. Working for the town he learned the in’s and out’s of the mooring industry, specifically what is needed to have a safe mooring. After leaving the DNR, Steven worked at his family business in the contracting field. But every summer he would maintain the families moorings and now has one of his own in town too.
Having his own mooring, he learned the hassles of mooring maintenance. He also learned there was a need major need for proper inspectors. Strong communication with clients was something other companies lacked, so in 2023 Steven started Ball ‘N Chain Mooring Co. A full service mooring company, that is dedicated to the clients.
